Collection: Jessica Patrick - Artist
Jessica uses art as an investigative tool to broaden her understanding of the (pre)history and the fragility of the life and culture that surrounds her wherever she goes. The experiences she's had while traveling the world have captured her imagination and fueled a hunger to find out more, so that she can better translate her encounters with other life forms to her creative process at home in South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula. It is mher intention to keep the character of both the subject matter, and the culture alive in each piece through intricate line work in pen and ink, inspired by the many ways that different cultures around the world have traditionally used patterns.
